This is the Salt Lake Temple, the worship location of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is not open to the public and is part of something called TEMPLE SQUARE. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir performs in a place next to this in their Conference Center. If interested: http://www.lds.org/placestovisit/region/0,10749,1779-1-1,00.html is the website w/more info. Went to a concert of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir & Orchestra with the Oak Ridge Boys. No cameras were permitted, but I grabbed a shot w/the cameraphone. It does no justice at all to the magnificance of the Tabernacle and the 21,000 seat Theater. Yeah, 21,000 seats and every last one of them was filled. It was SRO!! Apr 21-06
